Jamshedpur FC claimed its first win of the tournament by beating Indian Navy Football Team by a single goal in a Group B match of the 2023 Durand Cup at Mohun Bagan Ground on Thursday.
Ashley Koli scored the only goal of the game at the end of the second half to secure all points for Jamshedpur FC. The red miners now have three points, level with Mohammedan Sporting in second place on the standings. Mumbai City FC leads the table with a full score after two consecutive wins.
This makes the final group games interesting as all three sides have a chance to qualify for the quarterfinals, where the top team automatically qualify.

There is also a chance for the second-placed teams as the two best second-placed teams will advance to the last eight.
In another match of the day, Army of India FT defeated debut team and also local rivals Bodoland FC by 2-1 to claim their second consecutive win in Group F match at the Stadium. Sports Authority of India in Kokrajhar.

Samir Murmu put the Army ahead in the sixth minute before Suresh Meitei doubled the lead from the penalty spot in second-half stoppage time. Joe Aidoo shortened the lead for Bodoland FC in the last minute of the match.
Army captain and goalkeeper Bhabindra Thakuri was sent off for a second yellow card shortly before the final whistle.

Group F (Kokrajhar): Bodoland FC 1 (Aidoo 90+11) lost to Indian Army FT 2 (Samir 6, Suresh 90+4-pen)
