As expected, the Burj Khalifa is lit up in vibrant saffron, white and green colors to the delight of the citizens of India. The moment was shared on Twitter, or X, by user Mufaddal Vohra. In the clip, which has now gone viral with nearly 500,000 views, the Burj Khalifa is seen waving the Indian flag over its sprawling glass panels reaching to its sky. Along with the Indian flag displayed on the Burj, the clip is decorated with an instrumental performance of the Indian National Anthem, ‘Jana Gana Mana.’

The user who shared the video on social media shared the moment which was quite bizarre and gave him goosebumps. This show of support for India comes after a tumultuous day in Dubai. On August 14, videos of several Pakistani indigenous people went viral on the internet as they were filmed taking part in a riot that took place in front of the Burj Khalifa.

Hundreds of Pakistanis gathered in front of the Burj Khalifa before midnight to see the Burj Khali colored in their national flag. However, after a few minutes passed after 12 a.m., the crowd became frustrated and began to express their disappointment.
This uproar then went viral on social media and went viral. However, it is important to note that the Pakistani flag has in fact flown over the world famous skyscraper. A video of this was shared by Burj Khalifa’s original handle on Instagram.
