Ola Electric on Tuesday launched its new entry-level S1X electric scooter at an introductory price of Rs 79,999 as it ramps up the challenge to its conventional engine counterparts. The company also introduced four electric four-wheelers that will be launched by the end of 2024.
The company’s founder and CEO, Bhavish Aggarwal, said at a customer event held at Ola Future Factory in Krishnagiri (Tamil Nadu).
He said the S1X with the 2kwh battery variant was launched at an introductory price of Rs 79,999 in the first week and will be priced at Rs 89,999 after that.
Aggarwal said pre-orders will begin immediately and deliveries will begin in December, adding that the entry-level electric scooter is intended for daily commutes of around 10-20 kilometers.

Ola Electric also showcased four of its electric motorcycles — Diamondhead, Adventure, Roadster and Cruiser — at the event.
