Actor Darren Kent, best known for his role in Game of Thrones big series, dead. According to diversityKent took his last breath on August 11. He is 36 years old.
News of his death was confirmed by his talent management agency, Carey Dodd Associates, in a statement posted to Twitter on Tuesday. “It is with profound sadness that we must inform you that our dear friend and client, Darren Kent, passed peacefully on Friday. His parents and best friend that [were] next to him. Our thoughts and love are with his family during this difficult time. RIP my friend,” wrote the agency.
Kent was born and raised in Essex and attended Italia Conti, graduating in 2007. His first major role was in the 2008 horror film. mirror. Then he was featured in winning Emmy Game of Thrones. IN Game of Thrones, Kent wrote an essay on her role as a goat herder in Slavers Bay. Most recently, he was seen as a resurrected corpse in the 2023 movie Dungeons and Dragons: Honor Among Thieves.
His additional credits include Snow White and the Hunter, Law of Marshals, bloody cuts, The Frankenstein Chronicles, blood drive And sorry bird among others. Kent notably won best actor at the 2012 Van D’or Awards for his portrayal of Danny, a young boy with a rare skin condition that prevents him from being exposed to the sun, in Sunny Boy.
Like his character in the film, Kent also has to battle a skin disorder, in addition to osteoporosis and arthritis. He’s also an award-winning writer and director, having directed the 2021 short film you know metook home his January Award, according to Diversity.
