Pre-orders for Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan have already started in several international markets, including the United States. According to a new report by Sacnilk.com, the film’s overseas early pre-sales are “very encouraging and better than Shah Rukh’s recent blockbuster Pathaan in many territories”. Pre-booking abroad Jawan
In the US, Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan got off to a very good start and sold about 4,800 tickets worth about $74,200 from 289 locations, the report said, citing figures shared by the film’s distributor. Venky Reviews is based in the United States.
Jawan’s locations and screenings are expected to increase in the coming days as the film is tipped to have a more epic start to Pathaan in the US. Venky Reviews tweeted on Friday, “Jawan USA pre-Day 1 sales $74,158 – 289 Venues – 1334 shows – 4795 tickets sold. There are 21 days left until the show starts.”
Jawan is expected to open around $50 cr overseas
Pathaan grossed around $1.85 million on its opening day in North America, and Jawan will find a way to comfortably surpass that, Sacnilk reported. Overall, Jawan is expected to earn around $50 crore overseas, it will be Bollywood’s biggest opening film ever, beating Pathaan, which has $37 crore on opening day overseas, the report added.
Pre-orders for Jawan have also started in the UAE, three weeks before the film’s release. Several of Shah Rukh’s fan accounts also claim that pre-orders for the upcoming film have not only started in the UAE but also in the US, Germany, and Australia.
Introduction to Java
Jawan marks Shah Rukh’s second release of the year, following Siddharth Anand’s spy action blockbuster Pathaan. Its global earnings exceed $1000 cores. Besides, Shah Rukh, Jawan will also have the presence of Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara, Sanya Malhotra and Priyamani. Deepika Padukone, Shah Rukh’s Pathaan co-star, will make a cameo appearance in Jawan.
The film is produced by Red Chillies Entertainment and the music is composed by Anirudh Ravichander. Chaleya, the second song of the film, was released recently. The song features the romance of Shah Rukh Nayanthara.
After Jawan, Shah Rukh will also feature in Rajkumar Hirani’s Dunki, scheduled to hit theaters in December, where he will appear alongside Taapsee Pannu.
