The Red Devils won the opening match of the Premier League 1-0
Sky Sports reports that the Premier League match between Manchester United and Wolves, which ended in a draw, has been canceled next week following mistakes by the VAR team and the referee.
VAR officials and teams responsible for a fatal error that occurred during Manchester United’s win over Wolves on Monday night were disciplined by PGMOL chief Howard Webb.
The Red Devils were extremely lucky to avoid goalkeeper Andre Onana being penalized, and referee Webb decisively punished those responsible.
After a dispute between Onana and attacker Sasa Kalajdzic in the United box, referee Simon Hooper, VAR Michael Salisbury and VAR assistant Richard West decided not to award Wolves a penalty.
The decision angered Wolves manager Gary O’Neil, who received a warning for his outburst on the pitch. After the game, he revealed that PGMOL referee Jon Moss sent him an apology and said it should have been given.
