It’s been almost 14 years since Samantha Ruth Prabhu made her big screen debut as the unforgettable Jessie Thekkekuttu in Ye Maya Chesave. The actress looked back on her journey in an Instagram post, saying she was in New York, where some parts of the movie were filmed. Sharing a series of pictures of herself, Samantha wrote: “They say New York is the place where dreams are made. I started my career when I filmed my first movie here…. A scared little girl who doesn’t know what she will do… but brave enough to dream big! Today, 14 years later…” Samantha was in New York for the 41st India Day Parade.
In the film Gautham Vasudev Menon, Samantha Ruth Prabhu was cast with Naga Chaitanya, whom she married in 2017. The couple separated in 2021.
Samantha Ruth Prabhu flew to New York to celebrate Independence Day in the presence of the Indian diaspora. In photos and videos circulating on social media, the actress can be seen walking with fans on the streets of New York.

Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s trip to New York comes after her busy promotional schedule for the upcoming film Kushi. The film is slated to hit theaters on September 1. Kushi also starring Vijay Deverakonda. Last week, Samantha and Vijay attended kushi’my concert in Hyderabad and it was a dream come true.
Except KushiSamantha is set to collaborate with director Philip John, who is known for his work in Downton Abbeyfor a project titled Arrangement Of Love. Also, she will be part of Russo Brothers’ India segment. Citadeldirected by Raj and DK, with whom she previously worked Family man 2.
