The actress looked back on her journey in an Instagram post, saying she was in New York, where some parts of the movie were filmed. Sharing a series of pictures of herself, Samantha wrote: “They say New York is the place where dreams are made. I started my career when I filmed my first movie here…. A scared little girl who doesn’t know what she will do… but brave enough to dream big! Today, 14 years later…” Samantha was in New York for the 41st India Day Parade.
In the film Gautham Vasudev Menon, Samantha Ruth Prabhu was cast with Naga Chaitanya, whom she married in 2017. The couple separated in 2021.
